Emerald City: The Rise of Eros tells a love story set in the magical world. On this planet, potent magic flows through humans and animals, who use magical receptors within their bodies. This Planet is hostile to humanoids, threatened by Hord creatures (bug-like species), large beasts (three to four times bigger than humans), and titans, all of which see humans as nests or food sources.

Emerald City is set in a semi-futuristic world where magical engineering is more difficult than it seems. The City struggles to survive constant attacks from these creatures. The city’s defenders, known as Adventurers (or the military), are divided into four factions, each with unique combat styles. When Sophia Starlight, from the Explorers Company, discovers a titan in hibernation, the city calls for an emergency project to pull more people from the rifts (Eros) to help defend the city.

In the series, lead scientist Ethan Sage learns his ex-girlfriend is selected for this secret mission, reigniting unresolved emotions. The story follows their rocky relationship as they try to rekindle their love while dealing with past memories. Meanwhile, Eros, a warlock and mayor of a small town, is rifted through a portal made by Ethan’s team. Specializing in mind control, Eros seeks safety in this new world by controlling those around him or killing enough people until there are no more threats. The tension builds as the narrative questions whether Eros will save Emerald City from the monsters or lead to its destruction?
