After two brief prologues, Dan and Georgie, two laborers of the famous King Midas, he of the golden touch, discover the body of an old satyr mysteriously passed out in Midas's royal rose garden. Hoping for a reward, they tie him up with vines and dump him on the back of a donkey to take him to the king himself.
