On their journey, they encounter an intense rainstorm and find refuge in an inn. Here, they meet a supposed Road Warden commander and his crew. However, things are not as they seem. Talison discovers a dead body in the stables, leading to a series of events that unveil a sinister plot. The party, along with a prince they befriend, uncovers a scheme to capture the prince, leading to a dramatic confrontation.
