It’s the story of an upcoming rock band that gets sent on an impromptu west coast tour by the Department of bike as a secret cover for their real mission; find out tech CEO Lonnie Muscles plans to sabotage the nation’s bike centric infrastructure and put a stop to them. This story is set in an alternate universe and told through “found footage” audio tapes cut together by a mysterious “narrator”. The Transportica Tapes is a scripted musical podcast set in a world where the citizens of the US rose up against the automotive industry in the 1980s and formed a new provisional government named Transportica.

In this premiere episode of the Transportica Tapes, we meet Blue, the front person to local Phoenix band Vampire State Evacuation Plan, as they get everything in order for their bands show that night. A touring band from Texas is coming in, and if this show isn't a success the bad press will not be good for the band.
This episode is the first in a 5 episode arch that ends with the titular Lost Cat Show. Come along for a bizarre musical adventure!
