The end of the world came and went almost twenty years ago. Call it what you will – a feat of global warming or of God. Once it was clear no ‘higher power’ was coming to save us, those who did have power did everything they could to keep it that way.

Two years back, just over 50 people escaped the confines of their self-imploding city; an underground network with just enough reckless insanity to even attempt it. To this day, nobody – not even The Powers That Be – knows where they went.

And they cannot abide that. One weak link is all it takes for revolution.

But it is coming. Starting small.
