Rook is a young adult who was sent on a simple errand. He was tasked with returning a high tech device known as a Link Pad, or LP for short, to one of his former mentors named Dr. Ape. As he sets out to accomplish this simple task, he is brought into an alien planet where he meets his mentor. He is then given a new task, a new quest, to help his mentor and his colleagues fend off against a group known as Out Dates. His biggest mission in all of this, is trying to find a way for all of them to return back home to earth.

Rook is sent to see his mentor. He was delivering a package when he encounters something strange at the lab. As he progresses forward, things start to become more strange. He soon finds his mentor, as well, as something extraordinary.
